Meet Henry! Henry was rescued by The Street Dog Project after a rough couple of months. He went from being being owned, to being left out in the streets, adopted out to a family that let him loose on the streets again, to being with a homeless family, to being hit by a car and needing his leg amputated… all in a short period of time.

He’s recovering beautifully and just had the last of his staples removed. Even with all of that, he doesn’t seem angry at the world or untrusting. He’s so sweet and loving and will give the biggest smile to everyone who looks his way. He has been introduced to cats and dogs here and there. He is very curious and excited about other animals. He loves on every person he meets. He is working on his manners and trying not to jump on everyone he sees, but he sometimes can't help himself he just loves people!

He is learning some basic commands and is a very quick learner. He learned that he needs to sit to have his leash put on and that he needs to wait by the door before going out. He lovvveess showing you his toys. Toys are his favorite! He will rub on you with his head to ask for pets. He’s a very observant kiddo. He is also the best and sweetest boy. He is one you have to meet to understand just how sweet he is!
