This sweet girl arrived at a local shelter as a stray while they were closed to the public due to covid-19.  One of our volunteers goes to take pics/video to network the shelter dogs and the first day they met, Trudy was shy but the next day Melanie went back, Trudy remembered her and eagerly greeted her with a wagging tail, kisses and a sweet, pleading look to get her out!  Thankfully a friend of Melanie's offered to foster so we were able to welcome Trudy into our care!

She's adjusting well to life as a beloved rescue dog!  Trudy has done good with other dogs she's met and she's very sweet with people.  She's pretty laid back and mellow and will make a great addition to a lucky family!

Trudy's  adoption fee is $225 plus tax and that covers her spay, microchip, vaccinations, heartworm test and she is on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.  She is heartworm positive but we will cover treatment at our vet (heartworm is common for street dogs as we have so many pesky mosquitoes but it's treatable and then dogs just need to be kept on prevention).
