From Max's Foster Mom: Max is the sweetest, most loving dog, he is a complete joy to be around! He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He is so in tune to people and extremely gentle. He will periodically "check in" by coming around and putting his head on your shoulder. He gives a kiss of appreciation every single time you put down his bowl of food. He listens and is eager to please. For roaming the streets for so long, I don't know how he came to being so perfect. He's never had an accident in the house, not food aggressive, rarely barks, plays well with other dogs, leaves the cat alone although he's curious and wants them to play with him. LOVES toys and is happy with a chew toy for awhile. He's not a leader, he's a follower. Loves to cuddle with the other dogs or with humans. Great in the car, sleeps all night, very fast and athletic (I heard he jumped a 4' fence). We're working on crate training.

We're sure he would be fine as an only dog but he truly enjoys his foster siblings and learns a lot from them. He has adjusted from living outdoor full time to living indoors without any problems. He's learning what the TV is and other new things like the vacuum and doesn't mind it so much. I could go on and on. Max is perfect other than he might sneak away with your shoe and chew on it if you don't watch. But that's your typical puppy! Max will be an incredible additional to any family. I pray he finds someone to love him everyday for the rest of his life. We sure will never forget this little angel.
