One day we were all in the right place at the right time when we found this sweet girl hanging out near a church playground.  She cautiously approached the food we set out and we discovered she had a badly injured front leg.  We rescued her from the streets and she's now had her leg amputated and it hasn't slowed her down one bit!

Callie is super sweet and she likes to gently greet you with an endearing hug - she now knows she's safe and life is good!  She likes to cuddle on the couch and gets along with other dogs but hasn't really figured out how to play yet but that might come with time.

She will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!  Callie's adoption fee is $225 and covers her vaccinations, microchip, spay and she's heartworm positive but treatment will be taken care of at one of our vet partners and then she just needs to be kept on monthly heartworm prevention (it's common to rescue street dogs who are positive because the pesky mosquitoes are bad in Texas and they weren't on prevention).
