Hi - I'm Luna, a 9 month old shepherd/cattle dog mix. My foster mom likes to joke that I could be mixed with some bunny rabbit given my super big & adorable ears. While I look a little larger in my photos, I am a petite pup at 35 lbs, so the perfect size for any home or apartment. 

I am a happy-go-lucky, active girl. My foster mom says I am so, so sweet and a big lover... I am always giving puppy kisses and greeting her with the biggest smile and tail wag!  My tail actually wags so much that my entire backside moves with it. My mom says that my tail will even pitter patter while I take naps.. I must be dreaming of my forever home! 

I am well socialized as I currently live with 4 foster siblings and I attend doggy day camp once a week. I have never met a 2 legged or 4 legged stranger, though I would probably do best in a home without kids or kids that are older/considerate, just because I wouldn't want my silly, floppy puppy antics to knock anyone over. In addition to meeting new doggy friends at day camp, I go to work with my foster mom at least once a week, so I am well versed in riding in the car and meeting new people wherever we go. I always get lots of compliments about how well behaved and cute (duh!) I am.

I love being outdoors! My favorite outdoor activity is fetch. I am really quick and getting really good at catching the ball mid-air. I also enjoy romping around the backyard with my foster siblings, laying in the sunshine and chasing squirrels. My foster mom takes us on at least one walk a day and says my leash skills have really improved! The site of my leash makes me do a happy dance. I don't care where I'm going as long as it's with my human!

While inside I am usually playing with one of my many toys. I enjoy all toys, but there are two bears in particular that I carry around from room to room. I plan to take those with me when I find my forever home.

While I am playful and on the go most of the time, I have a very cuddly side too. I love sleeping next to my foster mom and siblings at night on the couch while we watch TV or my foster mom gets some extra work done. If you pet my head or belly I am sure to pass out. You'll know I'm extra comfy by the sound of my sweet puppy snores. When it's time to be tucked in, I sleep in my crate through the night and wait patiently to be let out in the morning.

My ideal family would be one that is looking for a well-behaved puppy and leads an active lifestyle that I can be part of. While another pup in my home is not a necessity, a furry friend to continue to show me the ropes would be awesome! We found this cutie all alone on the streets!  She was a little shy initially but we quickly won her over wit hot dogs!  Luna is a total sweetheart who loves belly rubs and playing with other dogs!

She's going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!

We estimate she was born around March 2018 .  She's been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested and is on monthly preventative.  Luna's adoption fee is $225.
