Hi!

I’m Piper, a 3 month old oh-so-adorable whippet (and possibly greyhound) mix! My foster mom says a few words to describe me would be gentle, playful and sweet. I spend my days running around the backyard with my foster brothers & sisters, playing with my many toys, napping in my bucket bed, wearing puppy sweaters, following my foster mom from room to room and accompanying her just about everywhere and anywhere dogs are allowed.

I am good with everyone and everything. I come off a little shy at first, but I love meeting new people and giving puppy kisses. I get along great with other pups because I’m small, very submissive and love to play.  I would love to have a companion dog in my forever home as my pretty brown eyes light up and my tail wags so hard my backside moves with it when I see other dogs!

While I am great with kids, a home with older children would be best given my small, delicate size. My ideal home would also have a yard with a wood fence or iron rods that are too narrow for me to fit through.

Other things to know about me are that I ride great in the car, walk well on leash, sleep in my crate, and that I’m doing very well with potty training for a puppy my age. I’m very food motivated, so teaching me commands will be easy!

In addition to my sweet personality, I often get compliments on my long legs, floppy ears that have a mind of their own, and big brown puppy dog eyes. If you think I’m the pretty princess you’ve been searching for, please fill out an adoption application and I’ll see you soon!

My adoption fee of $250 covers my vaccinations, spay and microchip. I'm also on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative.
