Greta was a very shy and elusive street dog who was out on her own for over 4 years!  We then found out animal control caught her so we hustled to take her in as we wanted to give her a chance!  She was very scared initially but after given time to decompress she started to thrive in her foster home to the point where she gets excited when her foster mom gets home; wagging her tail and eagerly greeting her and she also likes to play with other dogs!  Greta is a prime example of why it's so important to give scared dogs a chance!
