We welcomed this sweet guy to the TSDP family after he found himself on a local shelter's euthanasia list.  Carmelo is an older dog who was emaciated and the shelter was full of younger and smaller dogs; and those are the dogs people line up for so the odds were stacked against him.  We saw his sweet face on Facebook and when we went to meet him at the shelter, we went in his kennel and he crawled into our laps and covered us in kisses and his tail wagged non-stop!  He'd been found as a stray and clearly hasn't had the best start to life but despite all of that, he is a total lovebug!  We couldn't let him die at the shelter and we're happy to help him find the loving family he deserved all along!

We estimate he was born around May 2011 and he weighs around 50 lbs.  Carmelo's adoption fee is $225 and covers his vaccinations, neuter and microchip.  He's heartworm positive but we'll cover his treatment and then he just needs to be kept on monthly heartworm preventative.
