Hi! My name is Shadow and I found my way to TSDP after they met me at a local shelter. They took me outside to play and I quickly stole their hearts! I am full of life and love everyone! Here's a note from my foster family: "We have so many great things to say about Shadow! Her tail wags all the time. We have nick-named her “wiggle butt”. When we first met her she hopped out of the car and was so excited to meet us. We introduced her to our dog, a 50-pound lab mix, and she just wanted to play with him. She lays down without a fuss in her crate at night and sleeps the whole night. When we leave, Shadow does not make a fuss and will easily go in her crate. She walks well on a leash and loves going on walks and car rides. She is living the apartment life. She doesn’t bark much, she will only let out a cute little howl sometimes if our dog barks. She also does well with cats. We take her outside a few times a day to go to the bathroom. She doesn’t tell us when she needs to go but will go when we take her outside. Shadow is very smart. She picked up the sit command in her first 24 hours with us. We are currently working with her on other obedience commands. She is eager to please her humans and just wants to show affection. When we sit on the ground with her she will make her way to our laps quickly. Shadow also loves belly rubs and loves to give kisses! We were told on her way to come to us that she was riding in the car with two kids and was kissing them the whole time. She has a playful personality. She will chase a tennis ball and enjoys chewing on her nylabones. When training, she takes treats gently. We know she was a staff favorite when she visited the vet. Again, we really love little Miss Shadow and we know her forever family will love her too. She is a fantastic little girl."
