American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Hi! I used to be pretty shy when I lived on the streets but then the volunteers from The Street Dog Project started visiting me and bringing me chicken. I was starting to trust them but then changed my routine and started running around with my street dog friends and I didn't meet up with the volunteers for months. On a freezing cold day in December, my luck changed as I crossed paths with the volunteers again! I was so happy to see them as they had chicken, my favorite! I was shivering and also audibly cold so fortunately they immediately started trying to rescue me. I didn't cooperate on the first night but within 24 hrs I found myself scooped up and taken to the vet clinic so was finally safe and warm! I quickly adjusted to life off the streets and now I barely go outside! I walk great on leash and am really low-key. I love to wag my tail, get petted and give little kisses. Please email info@thestreetdogproject.org for info on fostering or adopting me!
